DC ANti Trafficking Task Force (Karana Leadership Co-Chairs the Training and OUtreach Committee)

The D.C. Human Trafficking Task Force was formed in 2004 to increase the prosecution of traffickers while identifying and serving the victims of this horrific crime. Prevents human trafficking and exploitation through education and awareness and to help provide opportunities for survivors to thrive. UNITAS began combating human trafficking in 2015 after founder, Lubo Krstajic, learned of the plight of trafficking victims. Believing in unity as the name suggest, UNITAS quickly forged partnerships with governments, NGO’s, and experts in the field to develop collaborative solutions in the fight against human trafficking. UNITAS has offices in Belgrade, Serbia and New York, USA where we are developing innovative programs to expand regionally.
